A 3-year-old is being hailed a hero after he alerted his parents that their house was on fire early Friday morning. Firefighters were called to a home in the 4000 block of Seaforth Drive around 5:20 a.m. When firefighters arrived there was heavy smoke and flames. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put the fire out. There were two adults and one child in the home when the fire started. Investigators at the scene say the father was cut on the arm and was treated at the scene. Firefighters say the 3-year-old woke up to a fire behind the couch and woke up the parents.
