Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue responded around 9 a.m. Monday morning to L&L Hill’s Body Shop at 2028 Spartanburg Highway after a roof collapsed. The weight of heavy snow appears to be the cause, said Will Sheehan, fire chief with Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue. The shop is working with a company to stabilize the building, he added. No roof collapses were reported in the city, said Public Information Officer Allison Nock. The Hendersonville Fire Department said there were a couple of carports that collapsed Sunday, but nothing significant.
