A woman was inside a home at 3510 Stanton Mill road early Sunday morning when a fire started, according to Staton House Fire and Rescue Department. Firefighters say he was able to make it out unharmed. Staton House Fire and Rescue Department and Stokes Fire Department were dispatched to the fire at 3:45 a.m. Half of the home was on fire when crews arrived. They requested Bethel Fire Department for more help. "Our crews made a great stop and prevented any further loss," said Firefighter Frankie Lopez, of Staton House Fire and Rescue Department. "The fire was fully extinguished within 45 minutes of arrival".
