Officials found one person dead at a Raleigh apartment complex that caught fire Sunday morning, according to Raleigh police.
About 30 firefighters arrived at Summit Avent Ferry Apartments in Raleigh, near Lake Johnson, around 7:20 a.m. to battle the fire that was eventually contained to one apartment building, ABC 11 reported.
Firefighters discovered the body of a deceased male in that apartment, Raleigh police said.
Raleigh police received a call from the 1000 block of Avent Hill around 7:27 a.m. and also responded to the scene.
