Several families lost their homes following an apartment fire in University City Tuesday night. The fire happened around 8:30pm at the Hudson Commons Apartments on Glenwater Drive. Officials say four units were damaged in the fire, but no one was injured. Crews took extra precautions due to hot and humid temperatures. Firefighters also managed to save a dog that was trapped inside. There has not been any word on what may have sparked the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
