Firefighters are working to fully extinguish a home after it was destroyed by flames Tuesday night.
At around 6:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a call off Spring Street near Connelly Church Street in Connelly Springs, according to scanner traffic.
Flames were billowing out of a single-wide mobile home when a News Herald reporter arrived at around 7 p.m.
No one is believed to have been injured in the fire, said Fire Inspector Chad Houston. A neighbor told Houston the home had been abandoned for about four months, but when she drove by earlier on Tuesday, the door had been kicked in.
