A firefighter was injured while working a house fire in Mills River on Thursday.
The fire started around 9:30 a.m., in the area of Blossomwood Path and Boylston Highway. The Mills River Fire Chief Rick Livingston said a firefighter was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
"He had a ceiling fall on top of him," said Livingston. "Possible neck and back injuries."
The injured firefighter is OK, according to the fire chief.
Firefighters said there were people inside the home when the blaze started, but they were able to get out safely.
