One man was injured in a morning house fire in Winston-Salem.
Firefighters were called to a home at 3434 Anderson Drive about 6:50 a.m. today and saw heavy smoke and flames, said Division Chief Jay Walsh with the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
When they arrived, they were told by a neighbor someone could have been inside the house, he said.
Firefighters found an adult man unconscious in a bedroom, Walsh said. He was taken by ambulance to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
