Chopper 9 Skyzoom was over the scene of a large police and fire personnel presence in northeast Charlotte. More than a dozen officers and firefighters were called around 10:30 a.m. to TBS Freight off Orr Road, near the Reedy Creek Nature Preserve. From Chopper 9 SkyZoom, emergency crews could be seen surrounding a retention pond. Workers told Channel 9 they spotted tire tracks leading to the pond and called 911. The company said landscapers working nearby noticed what appeared to be a vehicle submerged in the pond behind their storage warehouse. The landscapers said they did not believe the car was there yesterday.
