Early Sunday morning, firefighters from Goldsboro Station 2, 3 and 5 responded to a working mobile home fire on the 3100 block of Central Heights Road in the Webber Mobile Home Park. Everyone living in the residence managed to get out before the first fire unit arrived on the scene. The two people living in the mobile home were checked out by paramedics from Wayne County EMS Station 5. No one was hurt and no one was taken to the hospital. The quick action of firefighters kept the blaze contained to the kitchen area with only smoke damage reported throughout the rest of the residence. Goldsboro Police provided traffic control in and around the area while firefighters put out the blaze.
