A benefit for a Valley City firefighter will be held today for Lt. Brad Tibke at the Eagles Club starting at 5pm. Earlier this year, Tibke had quadruple bypass surgery and the benefit will help defray the cost of medical expenses after Tibke lost several weeks of employment during his recovery. The Valley City Fire Department will host a silent auction as well as a spaghetti supper starting at 5pm today in the Eagles Club.
