Lab fire at North Dakota State University causes significant damage

Firefighters responding to a fire alarm call at North Dakota State University arrived to find a fire in a basement lab that caused significant damage. According to Fargo Fire, firefighters were called to Dunbar Hall on the NDSU campus at 1301 Albrecht Blvd North in Fargo around 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, for the report of a fire alarm. The first crew arrived on scene to find moderate smoke in the basement hallway. As crews took a hose line into operation, they found a fire in a lab on the basement floor. The fire was knocked down at 5:35 p.m. with a single hose line, a release from the Fargo Fire Department said.
