A fire destroyed an apartment on the 1400 block of North 22nd Street just after 2:30 this afternoon, according to a Bismarck Fire Department official. Firefighters put the fire out fairly quickly, but stuck around for several hours to make sure it didn't reignite. Authorities say the fire did not damage the other three apartments in the building.
