The Carrington Fire Department is partnering with the American Red Cross to provide free smoke alarms to anyone in the community who needs them. “We want to make sure every home has working smoke alarms and we are proud to be part of this partnership to make that happen,” said Lynn Speral, CEO of the American Red Cross Dakotas Region. Members of the Red Cross, the Carrington Volunteer Fire Department and other community partners will be installing smoke alarms on Saturday, April 8. All requests for installations must be made by Tuesday, April 4.
