A fire Sunday morning at a University of Nebraska-Lincoln fraternity building was caused by lightning from overnight storms, says Lincoln Fire and Rescue. Firefighters responded around 8 a.m. to a building on the 2000 block of O Street. The fire took about 20 minutes to control, said Capt. Dave Engler. Rented to Kappa Sigma for office space, the building suffered $50,000 in damages, said Engler.
