Eagle Fire and Rescue is preparing for the annual Eagle Fun Day this weekend. Just like in past years, department members will suit up for battle this Saturday. This year, the water wars continue. The department will stick to tradition once again, inviting members from other area departments to meet them in the park. Once there, firefighters will put on their bunker gear, grab a hose and attempt to best their competition. It’s an event with a long history, said Assistant Fire Chief Ben Glantz. According to his records, the village has hosted musters since the late 1960s.
