Personal watercraft capsizes at Branched Oak Lake

Rescue crews from several departments were called out to Branched Lake around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the Malcom Fire Department, a personal watercraft had capsized near Area Four. According to the fire chief, a rope got caught in the motor, stranding the pair for about an hour. Eventually the watercraft flooded, but by then, they had mostly drifted to shore. No injuries were reported.
