The Thompson Company suffered an electrical fire Wednesday morning, according to Grand Island firefighters. The business is located at 3636 W. Stolley Park Road, just west of Highway 281 near the Case New Holland plant. Firefighters on scene said there was an electrical fire in the building. Shortly after 7:00 a.m., firefighters said the situation had been contained. There were no injuries reported. By 7:30, the fire department reported fire trucks were allowed to go back to their stations. There were at least three fire trucks on scene, plus a city utility vehicle.
