Ashes from a wood-burning stove accidentally started a fire outside a home early Monday morning, fire officials confirmed. A neighbor spotted the house on fire near 30th and Washington streets and called 911, officials said. One person inside the home made it out safely before firefighters arrived. The flames spread inside the home around 4:30 a.m. and caused roughly $33,000 in damage, fire officials confirmed. They called the house a "complete loss." No one was injured.
