This week marks the one year anniversary of the Highway 92 grass fire near Lake McConaughy and one fire chief in the area is sounding the alarm about the possibility of it happening again. Keystone/Lemoyne Fire Chief Ralph Moul says people are not doing enough to protect their home in the event that another grass fire occurs. He adds that many of the homes are not defensible and they're many fuel sources that are too near the home that could easily help a grass fire to spread like it did last year. There are several things you can do to help firefighters protect your home in the event of a grass fire.
