The cause of a fire in Red Willow County will remain unknown unless new evidence is found, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office. The Red Willow County Sheriff's Office said Beaver Valley and Indianola Fire crews were called to the fire just after midnight about one mile north of Danbury on Sunday. They said Red Willow Western and McCook Fire Departments were eventually called to provide assistance, but the house was considered a total loss. The sheriff said nobody was in the house at the time of the fire. He said he thinks a family had moved out, but it was unclear if they had completely left the property. The Fire Marshal listed the fire's cause as unknown.
