Hamilton police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a burning home in the township on Sunday afternoon.
Police responded along with local fire personnel around 12:18 p.m. to a report of a structure fire at 75 Irving Court, where firefighters found the unresponsive victim in the living room, according to a statement from the Hamilton Police Division. The man was removed from the home and taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office is expected to conduct an autopsy.
