Members of the Linden Fire Department gathered Monday to pay homage to eight fallen brothers who died in the line of duty between 1931 and 1983, as part of the dedication of the department's Last Alarm Memorial at Fire Station 1 on Wood Avenue. The dedication was held on the department's 102nd anniversary with many family members of the eight fallen firefighters on hand. Master of Ceremonies Deputy Chief Kevin Brady said the memorial's dedication is the final act of the department's centennial celebration.
