A house on Tumble Falls Road in Kingwood Township was damaged in a two-alarm fire Friday night.
The fire was reported just before 10 p.m. and firefighters reported flames throughout the house as they arrived, according to those at the scene. Because there were no fire hydrants in the area, a tanker task force ferried water from a dump site at Route 28 and Tumble Falls Road. A second dump site was set up near the house, located several hundred feet from the road.
West Amwell Fire Company set up their areal ladder in the street to put water on the house while other fire engines were on the driveway of the residence.
Firefighters left the scene just after 2 a.m. Saturday, according to those at the scene.
