Fire engulfed two trucks in Kearny on Saturday morning but the flames did not spread to a nearby building in the industrial area, Kearny Fire Department Chief Steven Dyl said. Firefighters responding to the area of 43 Obrien Road on the 12:40 a.m. alarm found two semi tractors and a utility pole ablaze, Dyl said this afternoon of the incident captured on video. There were no injuries and the flames did not spread the trucks' trailers before being placed under control at 1:09 a.m. There were no injuries and firefighters left the scene around 3:45 a.m., Dyl said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
