A 38-year-old man was killed after crashing his motorcycle into a parked car in Atlantic City on Sunday night, authorities said.
Juan Cruz-Ortiz, of Atlantic City, was thrown from the motorcycle when he struck the unoccupied vehicle around 8:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, police said in a statement. Cruz-Oritz was brought to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly after 11 p.m.
Both the car and motorcycle caught fire after the crash. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
