One person was injured in a fire that tore through a home on Crest Circle Drive Monday evening, police said.
Authorities were called at about 7:10 p.m. for a report of a house fire at 15 Crest Circle Drive, State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The fire was reported to be a three-alarm blaze.
Peele said one female who was in the home at the time of the blaze was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Further details, including the extent of the damage to the home, were not available Monday night, Peele said. The Monmouth County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
