A fire has damaged a southern New Mexico tortilla factory. The Las Cruces Sun-News reports that Las Cruces firefighters responded to the blaze Wednesday afternoon at La Bonita Mexican Food Products. Las Cruces Fire Department Deputy Chief Jason Smith says the cause of the fire is still under investigation No injuries were reported. La Bonita Mexican Food Products was created by Roberto Estrada in 1968. According to the most recent records on file with the Better Business Bureau, Estrada still owns the business.
