A small fire was reported in the Corrales bosque near Camino Campo Wednesday morning. The fire was first reported just before 11:30 a.m. to the fire, which was located near some homes in a horse corral. The fire was human-caused by someone illegally burning, said Corrales Fire Chief Anthony Martinez. No people or animals were injured in the fire, which Martinez said is in mop-up stages. Police will work to determine whether the property owner will face a citation for the illegal burn. No further information is available at this time.
