Special investigators and local firefighters are working with the ATF to looking for clues on what caused a massive blaze in Nob Hill last week. The fire wiped out a luxury condo complex under construction called, “The Carlisle.” Electrical and structural engineers are also helping out by working side by side with firefighters. A massive crane is also overhead to give investigators a view from above the fire. Federal officials and leaders with the Albuquerque Fire Department scheduled an interview to talk about the investigation but abruptly canceled. The owner said 80 percent of the complex was finished and half of the 34 condos were already sold. He says families were planning to move in January. The loss is estimated at more than $9 million.
