The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with an arson investigation.
Detectives suspect that the fire that destroyed a home at 368 Los Pinos Road, near La Cienega southwest of Santa Fe, was intentionally ignited, the law enforcement agency said in a news release Friday.
The fire consumed the house late in the evening of Friday, Dec. 1, according to the release.
“Detectives believe the person responsible for this crime used an accelerant inside the home that they ignited to burn the house,” the release said.
