Ciera Herrera and Elijah Lopez are feeling blessed after the community and KOAT viewers rallied behind them to donate baby girl clothing, toys, and money to their GoFundMe page after their new house burnt down Sunday. Firefighters said wind knocked down a power line, sparking that massive fire. Herrera was due this week and has been feeling the pressure to completely rebuild from the ground up.
But their family of four has grown to five. After KOAT met with Herrera Tuesday, she went into labor and gave birth to a healthy baby girl Wednesday morning. The couple also has two other daughters, ages 9 and 11.
