The Belen City Council were shown the nearly completed plans for the new $4 million fire station which voters approved last March.
John Pate, with Molzen Corbin, presented the governing body earlier this month the professional design services agreement for the fire station, which totals $319,966. Pate said the total price of the fire station, which includes their services, is estimated to cost $3,997,000.
In March 2016, voters approved a $4 million general obligation bond for a new fire station.
