Twelve new firefighters will be sworn in Thursday after having successfully completed the 17th Doña Ana County Fire and Emergency Services Firefighter Academy.
The public is invited to attend the graduation ceremony, which will take place in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center on March 30, 2017, at 6 p.m.
Capt. Lance Horton of the Silver City Fire Department will be the guest speaker. Magistrate Judge Joel Cano will administer the oaths of office.
Graduating firefighters are: Arturo Aguilera, Jacinda Au, David A. Banegas, David R. Banegas, Justin Banegas, Troy Barreras, Marco Butler, Alan Gamrath, Yta Gomez-Cordero, Francisco Longoria, Toby Mondragon and Autumn Robinson.
