Authorities say a man is being treated for burns following an explosion in an apartment in southeast Albuquerque. Fire Department spokeswoman Melissa Romero says firefighters were dispatched to an apartment fire at 11:56 p.m. Wednesday at 701 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE. Firefighters arrived within minutes and found that an explosion occurred in one apartment with no fire present. A burned man in his 40s was found a couple of blocks away from the apartment about an hour after the explosion.
