A downed power line caused a fire in Valencia County, Tuesday afternoon.
The fire chief says high winds knocked down the power line along Highway 47 near La Entrada Road and started the fire, which then spread to about one and a half acres.
A mobile home caught fire and was destroyed, but no one was hurt. Crews are now monitoring the area for hotspots.
Meanwhile, crews are making some headway in other wildfires burning around the state, but officials are worried about the high winds.
The Diener Canyon Fire, which started as a prescribed burn near Grants, is now 35 percent contained. The nearby Bluewater Fire, sparked by an abandoned campfire, remains at 10 percent containment.
Combined, the two fires have scorched more than 10,000 acres.
