It is with great sadness that the City of Farmington and the Farmington Fire Department share the news of Lieutenant Shadd Rohwer death. Thursday morning, at 10:10 am, surrounded by his family and friends, Lt. Shadd Rohwer succumbed to his battle with an ongoing illness. Lt. Rohwer was first diagnosed in June of 2015. The circumstances surrounding his illness make this a "line of duty" passing. Shadd made the ultimate sacrifice for the community he loved and served. The City of Farmington and the Fire Department will be working closely with fellow Firefighters and other state representatives to recognize and honor his service to our community and our department.
