No cause has been determined for a fire that destroyed a vacant house Thursday night, according to North Lyon Fire District Chief Scott Huntley. Flames were reported at the house about 11PM December 6, 2018 on Country Drive in Fernley. No injuries were reported and the fire didn't spread to other structures. North Lyon Fire was assisted in the firefight by Storey County Fire, Truckee Meadows Fire and Central Lyon Fire. The Nevada Fire Marshal's Office is conducting the investigation.
