A window washer died Wednesday after apparently falling at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, according to police. Officers got a call just after 12:30 p.m. about a man who fell from the hotel, said Officer Laura Meltzer of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Police and firefighters responded and discovered he was a window washer. He was taken to UMC where he was pronounced dead, according to Meltzer. A witness who called 911 said there were two window washers rappelled on ropes over the side of the building when a wind gust started hitting the building. The wind started swaying one of the washers back and forth, causing him to hit the building forcefully. On the third hit, the witness said, the washer fell head first onto the pool deck. The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man who died as 27-year-old Jonathan Garcia of Las Vegas. The exact ruling on cause of death is still pending, according to the coroner's office.
