Crews make quick work of apartment fire in Clark County

The Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) responded around 12:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, to a reported fire in the 10100 block of Jeffreys Street. On arrival, crews saw heavy smoke and flames coming from a two-story apartment complex. A second alarm was requested, but firefighters already on scene knocked the fire down by 12:08 p.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and no injuries were reported. SWG Energy and Nevada Energy were notified to respond and assist with utilities. Damages have not been estimated, and it is unknown if anyone has been displaced as a result of the fire.
