Nevada Task Force-1 is expected to return to the Silver State this weekend after making more than 80 rescues in the storm-ravaged Carolinas. Clark County Fire Chief Greg Cassell said in an email the crew would spend much of Thursday fixing their vehicles and trailers. The Task Force was sent to North Carolina to provide assistance in anticipation of Hurricane Florence. The crew ultimately conducted at least 81 rescue operations over several days in the area of Beaufort, North Carolina.
