Las Vegas fire officials are investigating a house fire that might have been a drug or grow operation.
Lt. Gordon with LVMPD says around 8:42 p.m., fire crews responded to a fire in the backyard of a house in the 3200 block of Crescent Run Court. While firefighters were at the scene, some small bottles started to ignite. Based on the appearance of a possible drug or grow operating, LVMPD was requested to assist.
No injuries were reported. A resident from one house was evacuated.
In a statement released early Tuesday morning, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski said firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the back of the home.
Crews were able to get the fire under control within 15 minutes, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, said Szymanski.
