A $83,334 federal grant announced Thursday will aid the purchase of new radio equipment by the Cowlesville Fire Company.
Rep. Chris Collins, R-Clarence, said the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program is designed to help first responders improve their capability to respond to fires and emergencies of all types.
