Five buildings were damaged with two being labeled a "total loss" after a fire swept through Walworth on Sunday morning. According to the West Walworth Fire Chief, a fire broke out at an owned but unoccupied home on the 4000 block of West Walworth Road around 5:05 a.m. on Sunday. It soon spread to neighboring buildings, including a lawn mower store and an occupied home. The neighbors in the closest home were able to escape uninjured. The site of the initial fire, as well as the lawnmower store, have been declared total losses, with crews working to demolish the lawnmower store early Sunday morning.
