Deputies say the Junius home that caught fire on Wednesday is a total loss.
Videos posted online showed fire crews working to battle the fire at the home on Birdsey Road just north of the Thruway. Deputies say the fire started around 2:40 p.m. at the cobblestone home of 75-year-olds Doris and Walter Wolf.
We're told the home was insured. Investigators are still working to determine was sparked the blaze.
During the large on Wednesday, firefighters provided oxygen to a cat that escaped the flames. A photo of that rescue was also posted online.
