From his office at the City of Batavia Fire Department, Chief Stefano Napolitano doesn’t have to look far to see priorities extending months into the future.
Four sheets of easel pad paper hang like oversized to-do lists on the office walls as a distillation of the personal and professional accomplishments Napolitano and his department want to accomplish.
Circles dot each list of acronyms for training certifications, factories where inspections are coming due, media releases to send and public events to stage.
Asked if he could fill the circle next to “Home Show,” Napolitano said it wasn’t a reminder of an event that happened six weeks ago. It’s for an event that is another full season of ice skating and hockey away.
