A log cabin on Milart Drive was destroyed by fire on Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported. Luzerne-Hadley firefighters were initially called out around 4 a.m. Tuesday for a structure fire at a home of 42 Milart Drive. The road is off Route 9N, near the Hudson River, and access was initially blocked by a downed tree on the driveway, according to the Luzerne-Hadley Fire Department. The fire tore through the structure, leaving little but charred walls and sections of roof, and it was reported to have rekindled around 12:15 p.m. The cause was under investigation by Saratoga County fire investigators later Tuesday. Firefighters from Bay Ridge, Corinth and West Glens Falls fire departments provided mutual aid.
