A fire broke out Thursday morning at a vacant property on Concord Avenue. Fire officials say the flames started on the third floor of 430 Concord Ave just after 6:30 a.m. It was under control in less than an hour. Three hours after the fire was put out, crews returned to the scene due to smoke on the roof. They made sure all hot spots were put out. A neighbor says the property has caught fire at least twice in two years. They think Thursday's fire was not an accident. Macarie Diallo runs an auto shop next to the property and claims his shop was broken into two months ago and his surveillance cameras were tampered with. Just days later, he says a fire broke out. The FDNY is looking into News 12's request on the cause of the previous fire. They are continuing to investigate Thursday's fire.
