Firefighters are battling flames at a Hilliard business.
The fire broke out shortly after midnight Friday in the 800 block of Hilliard Rome Road.
Columbus Police say the location is Hoffman’s Florist and Greenhouse. The owners, who live nearby, reported the fire.
The building was completely engulfed in flames.
Crews are still on scene. The fire chief says they are now fighting the fire defensively, and plan to let the fire come through the roof so they can attack it with the aerial ladders.
Authorities say they are not sure what caused the fire to start, but both the indoor and outdoor parts of the business have seen heavy damage.
