Carroll County sheriff’s deputies and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating an early morning fire today that left a man dead.
Firefighters were called at 1:08 a.m. Wednesday to 4160 Jade Rd, arriving to find the house in flames, said Sheriff Dale Williams. Dellroy firefighters were joined by firefighters from the Mohawk Valley, Great Trail, and Carrollton departments in battling the blaze. The house was rendered a total loss, Williams said.
Brian Wright, 33, was found dead inside.
His death remains under investigation, Williams said.
